ABSTRACT
INTRODUCCIÓN: La presencia de errores en la elaboración de artículos científicos es uno de los fenómenos que con más frecuencia se presentan en nuestras revistas médicas en los últimos años. Esto trae como consecuencia que muchos de los artículos recibidos sean rechazados porque no cumplen con el formato establecido por estas. OBJETIVOS: Diagnosticar las necesidades de aprendizaje de los profesionales de la salud de Villa Clara y diseñar e implementar una multimedia educativa para su preparación en la elaboración de artículos científicos. MÉTODOS: Se emplearon métodos teóricos, como el histórico-lógico, el inductivo-deductivo y la modelación. Como empíricos, el análisis documental, la encuesta, la entrevista, la triangulación y el criterio de actores y especialistas. RESULTADOS: El tiempo destinado a la preparación de los profesionales de la salud en el tema publicaciones científicas es insuficiente, lo que repercute en el pobre conocimiento de esta temática. Es escasa la bibliografía impresa sobre el tema comunicación científica y la preparación en publicaciones científicas en revistas médicas; no se han encontrado evidencias de un software para la preparación de los profesionales de la salud en lo referido a la elaboración de publicaciones científicas, pues no todos pueden acceder con la misma facilidad a los materiales que existen en Infomed. CONCLUSIONES: Es insuficiente la preparación de los profesionales de la salud de la provincia de Villa Clara en la elaboración de artículos científicos. La multimedia constituye una herramienta necesaria para la elaboración de artículos científicos médicos a utilizar por los profesionales de la salud.
INTRODUCTION: The presence of errors of the working out or scientific papers is one of the more frequent phenomena present in our medical journals in past years. It to result in that many of the papers received being rejected because of not fulfil with the format established for this purpose. OBJECTIVES: To diagnose the learning needs of health professionals of Villa Clara province and also to design and to implement an educational multimedia for its training in the creation of scientific papers. METHODS: Theoretical methods were used like the historical-logical, the inductive-deductive and the modeling. As empirical the documentary analysis, the survey, the interview, the triangulation and the actors and specialists were used. RESULTS: The time devoted to training of health professionals on the subject related to scientific publications is insufficient, leading to a poor knowledge on this subject. The printed bibliography on the scientific communication subject and also on the preparations of scientific publications is scarce; there were not evidences of software for the training of health professionals en relation to elaboration of scientific publications, since not all may to have access with the same easiness to materials available in Infomed. CONCLUSIONS: It is insufficient the training of health professional from the Villa Clara province in the elaboration of scientific papers. Multimedia is a tool needed to create the medical scientific papers to be used by health professionals.
